Dear Quality Education Academy Supporter,

We are extremely excited about celebrating our 24th Annual Legacy Banquet on Thursday, November 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in our high school auditorium located at 5151 Lansing Drive, Winston Salem, NC 27105. Our theme this year is "Excellence without Exception."

What is Legacy?

Quality Education Academy's Annual Legacy Program gre,v out of a need to recognize and legitimize authentic local heroes. The African proverb which states "until the lion becomes the ldstorian, the hunter will always be the hero, "very succinctly expresses the fact that heroes of our communities will only be recognized by the larger community after we have honored and documented their heroic acts. We can only grow as large as our vision.

 

Our Heroes will only be as heroic as "we" make them. It is important that we as people of color detennine the standards by which we measure excellence.

The totality of the experience of people of color is not measured only in test scores and financial success, but rather in the content of our character and the quality of our decisions. We owe it to our community and particularly our children to lift up our local heroes to the level they deserve. This is what Legacy is all about.

 

Here at Quality Education Academy, our dream is still alive, our vision is still clear. Quality Education Schools are about much more than the traditional education that we have all come to expect from our traditional schools. At QEA, we make real the core value of"raising the quality of lffe of everyone we touch" through education and enlightenment of the entire family, indeed the entire community!

We will archive our heroes for posterity, so that they will always be a part of Quality Education Schools and more importantly this community.

Your contributions help pay for tuition, books, and other needs as we send our students off to college

in June each year.

We institute new programs every year. These programs are supported by your donations. This year we are introducing our partnership with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Liberia. We also have a continued partnership with our sister school Accra High in Ghana.

For the 2 honorees inducted for the year, you wilI receive 2 tables of 8, a custom portrait with his/her bio, as well as the items listed below for your contribution of $2,000.00.        

For a contribution of $600.00 donors will enjoy:

•    Program memorabilia

•    Opportunity to meet and greet special guest

•    The pleasure of knowing' that you are contributing to the success of a young scholar within the community
