QEA’s mission is to maximize the educational potential of students by providing a stimulating environment that develops intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social potential. The vision includes creating a sustainable educational organization with a replicable, self-sufficient, wholesome community.
How do I enroll my child? What are the admissions requirements?
Parents can find enrollment and admissions information on the "Enrollment" section of QEA’s website. There is an “Apply Now” process. Also, new students will need to provide student records. For students coming in with special education needs, documentation like their IEP, evaluations, etc., may be needed.
What are the requirements or guidelines for school uniforms or dress code?
The school has a Uniform Policy. To find more information about it it will be underneath the parent tab.
How can I track my child’s academic progress or grades?
Parents can use the Infinite Campus. The Scholar-Parent Handbook also outlines how parents and students are expected to engage academically, behavioral expectations, communication, etc.
What support is available for students with special or exceptional needs?
QEA offers special education services consistent with federal mandates (IDEA) and state law. For example, after certain disciplinary removals, there are procedures to ensure that students with disabilities continue to receive services.
What is QEA’s policy on parent involvement and family engagement?
The school has a Parent and Family Engagement Policy and a School-Parent Compact that outline expectations and roles of school, parents, and students. Parents are encouraged to stay aware and involved throughout the school year.
What are the rights of parents regarding knowing teacher qualifications?
Because QEA receives Title I funding, parents have a right to request information about their child’s classroom teacher(s)’ qualifications, such as whether the teacher meets state licensing criteria, whether they have advanced degrees, etc. Similar rights exist for paraprofessionals assisting in instruction.
What about school nutrition – what meals are available, can children bring lunch, etc.?

Is there after-school care or programs? What are the P.O.P. After-school program details?
