In accordance with the application instructions from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Quality Education Academy, hereby submits this Notice of Intent to apply for a continuation of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Grant serving grades 3-12.  This grant will provide academic enrichment activities during non-school hours or periods when school is not in session for all qualifying students. The program will also offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities that are designed to complement the regular academic program. The 21st CCLC programs offer families opportunities for active and meaningful engagement in their child’s education, including opportunities for literacy and related educational development.
